Yellow Kings and Darker Things
Thursday-Saturday, October 28-30, 7:30pm
People’s Center Theater
425 20th Avenue South, Minneapolis

Celebrate this Halloween season in a double-bill of spine-tingling tales from two of the Twin Cities’ masters of the macabre!

Death and the deathless. Dragon shadows. Wolf dreams and time machines. Your biological clock is ticking, and founding Rockstar Storyteller phillip low has plenty to say about it in this cabaret of macabre sketches and stories. Quantum Suicide and Other Songs of Death: fondly dedicated to everyone who is dying. Especially you.

WARNING: This show contains profanity.

It is said that the play The King in Yellow is a strange story of such decayed debauchery, that those who read its virulent pages will fall to insanity. Welcome to a futuristic version of 1920 that never came to pass, a cold desolate world imagined by Robert W. Chambers in 1895. Unhappy with this world? Never fear, a Lethal Chamber has just been opened at Washington Square for your suicidal convenience. Tim Uren creates a new adaptation of The Repairer of Reputations.
