Paula is a writer and teller of personal and historical narratives, as well as folk tales and myths, that reflect the texture and complexity of family and community life, its blessings and betrayals. Her stories for children empower and entertain, and adults should expect no less. She strives to give her audience, of whatever age, an awareness of beauty in the moment, a vision of justice, and inspiration to act effectively and compassionately in the world. Paula has performed at a variety of venues, including Cheap Theater, the Minnesota Fringe Festival, Northstar’s Tellabration!, PJ Stories, the Spirit in the House Festival and the Science Museum of Minnesota, as well as at the Northlands Storytelling Network Conference, a regional event for Midwestern storytellers. Her one woman Fringe show, The Sins of the Mothers, will be featured at the 2012 National Storytelling Network Conference.
