Storyteller/Environmental Educator/Media and Peace Activist since the late 1960s. Larry did JFK’s 50 Mile Hike in 1961, and a “story-laden” 61 Mile Hike on his 61st birthday. He has “opened” for Captain Kangaroo at the Kennedy Center and told Peace stories to adults on the Hutton Yacht in Stockholm Harbor, but still mostly loves telling environmental stories with recycled music for children in schools. Winner of Action for Children’s TV Natl. Achievement Award for making TV behave as a storyteller at Mpls Children’s Hospital. With Elaine Wynne, as “Key of See”, won grand prize in Tokyo Video Festival for helping children exchange stories internationally. Key of See does stunning family storytelling programs, and teaches Storytelling for Activists as well as Storytelling for Parents and Grandparents.
