“I hail from Duluth where my Pa told me Lake Superior ‘swallows small children and big ships.’ So you can see I come by my storytelling gene honestly. I’m very democratic — I’ll tell anywhere. I’ve performed at a bookstores, coffee shops, festivals, pubs, and theaters. Some stories are newly created by me and others are drawn from our rich heritage of folklore and myth. I like to tell First Nation tales and immigrant tales, folk tales and ghost stories, and especially folk tales that are ghost stories. Nearly all my stories are about that strange species known as human.”
